What is Yoga dish?
Yoga has layers and layers of history. It’s a spirtual practice that has evolved over thousands of years and has only just recently swept the nation. For many, it’s physical exercise, for some it’s meditation and offers relaxation. Most of what we know in the West of yoga is from teachers that trained with Tirumalai Krishnamacharya. The word yoga is Sanskrit and can mean, to yoke or to join. For me, yoga means community.
Yoga Dish is a place where we can come together to support one another in our practice of mindfulness, to spread kindness and bring more peace into this world. Join me as I encounter and ponder the spiritual in books, people, observances on and off the mat. Here I’ll dish it all out, prepare and serve you contemplations on life. It’s food for thought. Feed your soul. I hope you enjoy.
